The training hall is the largest single volume on the estate and the reason the lower rock is cut at all. It is dimensioned for load: heavy plate-loaded work, long adjustment ranges, and the floor build-up that heavy work requires.

The training hall is documented separately, at the depth the room requires. That document carries the cut into the rock, the floor build-up, the zoning principle, and every decision that has not been taken.

A court position is held on the upper shelf, in the performance programme rather than beside it. Wind and edge safety remain open.

The environments are dimensioned for people who train seriously and work seriously, in small numbers, for extended periods. Space per athlete governs the plan rather than concurrent capacity.
